The Night Vision
Custom Victory Vision by
Hinshaw's Motorcycles of Auburn WA
I received an invite from the folks of Hinshaw's Motorcycles in Auburn WA,
to the unveiling of their custom Victory Vision. The custom Victory was
given the Name Night Vision. Cool name...
I'm not a Victory fan or a Harley fan for that matter, but I love bikes
and after riding over 200 miles today, what better way to wind down then to
stand in a showroom filled with motorcycles, chrome and accessories. The
only thing that could make the moment better would be if they gave out cold
I fired up the Goldwing and made my way to their store front. As I pulled
into the parking lot I noticed about 20 bikes parked near the front
entrance. When I entered the building the custom Victory was perched on a
stand near the rest of the Victory's. I have to admit, I was amazed. The
Night Vision was gorgeous. It was gloss black with just the right amount of
chrome. Everything seem to come together on this bike. The lines were
amazing right down to the "V" shaped tail lights that were between the hard
luggage that formed a "V" with the outer edge. And best of all, the bike has
a electric windscreen. If I have any complaints about my Wing, this is it.
No electric adjustable windscreen! Come on Honda! I paid $6,000 less for my
ST1300 and it had an electric windscreen.
I can't say enough about the looks of the Night Vision. Stop in and see
for yourself. The folks at Hinshaw's are great to deal with and they welcome
those who like to look. That's how they sold me two bikes. Although I won't
be trading in my Wing for a Victory, my hat is off to the Victory
manufacturer and the folks at Hinshaw's who put the right final touches on
the bike to create a look that will really stand out in the crowd.
I'd like to tell you more but I have not ridden one so I have to stop at
the great looks. Maybe one of these days I'll get a chance to saddle up one
of these machines and see how it handles.
